Prayer to St. Therese

O Little Flower of Jesus, St. Therese, you who promised to spend your heaven doing good on earth:

Through your 'Little Way', teach me to:

- Trust in God's infinite love

- Find joy in small sacrifices

- Love Jesus with childlike confidence

- Serve others in simple ways

- Accept daily crosses with love

You who said:

'My vocation is love!'

'Miss no single opportunity of making some small sacrifice, here by a smiling look, there by a kindly word.'

Help me to remember that:

- Holiness consists in doing small things with great love

- Every little act can be offered to Jesus

- God's mercy is greater than our weakness

- Heaven is our true home

Dear Little Flower, shower your 'roses' of grace upon me:

- Guide me in times of doubt

- Comfort me in suffering

- Strengthen my faith

- Lead me to Jesus through Mary

Through your intercession, may I learn to:

'Draw good from everything.'

'Let nothing trouble you, let nothing frighten you.'

St. Therese, pray that I may follow your Little Way of spiritual childhood with confidence and love.
