Prayer to the Virgin Mary

O Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our most gentle Queen and Mother:

Look down in mercy upon us, your children, as we:

- Place our trust in your loving protection

- Seek your powerful intercession

- Turn to you in our needs and sorrows

- Ask for your maternal guidance

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who:

- Fled to your protection

- Implored your help

- Sought your intercession

Was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, we fly unto you:

O Virgin of virgins, our Mother.

To you we come, before you we stand,

Sinful and sorrowful.

Mother of the Word Incarnate,

Despise not our petitions,

But in your mercy hear and answer us.

Help us to:

- Follow your example of faith and humility

- Say 'yes' to God's will in our lives

- Love Jesus with your immaculate heart

- Share Christ's love with others

Most Holy Virgin,

- Protect us under your mantle

- Guide us to your Divine Son

- Pray for us now and at the hour of our death
